Hate the new format. Too many huge ads. Too little content. Horrible upgrade. Sad really that folks supposedly "in the business" actually make things worse.

Not my favorite anymore

Update 9/21/3016: decided to give it another try. Its even worse now that ads pop into news stories that you cant get rid of. So you cant read the story. I expect better from ABC. ABC Actions news was for years my favorite Tampa news app. The new update makes it my least favorite. Now I can only see one or two stories per screen shot. No more list of news stories I can look down and decide what I want to read. Now I have to scroll continuously to find what I want to read. I used to be able to double tap the news story to return to the home page. No more. Now I have to click the "x" in the right hand corner. No more scrolling to the right or left to get news from different areas such as local, national or other news topics. I dont mind improvements, but the change is not an improvement. I think they hired high school tech students to practice designing this app.

ABC has been my go to "News Station" for the last 30 yrs! What really hooked me, while I was working on my days off I volunteered at the Station with ABC Action News on your side. Helping victims of wrong doing and was trained by other associates that were qualified . While working you could watch the news broadcast live and meet the news casters. They all work hard in preparing and verifying their stories before airing live on TV. Its actually a very interesting and enjoyable work place! : )

Great app for local and national news. Easy to use. I wish the updates came in a bit quicker but overall works great no issues.
