Educational, but not boring – great app!

I happened to stumble upon this application while looking for something to get my 2 year old started on reading. I’ve only had it for a few days, but I love it, and more importantly, my son loves it! The pictures are active, fun, and most of all, ENGAGING for my kid. Just yesterday we sat down and we played with this for 25 minutes, which is an amazing record for 2 year olds! We were able to go through it four times within the past 3 days. So far it’s proven to not be one of those toys that 2 year olds are infatuated with for a few hours, and then they never touch ever again… And believe me, we have hundreds of those toys just laying around! Personally for my kid, if he can play with something 3 days in a row, it will last for some time. Great application! Highly recommended!!

Solid Educational Tool

This is a basically a collection of alphabet flashcards with audio and animations. It can teach letters, words and basic phrases. The animation is good, the sound quality is also good and there is some background music too. The pictures are cute and use a lot of bright colors, so its perfect for younger kids.

Almost Perfect

Awesome app for my little ones to learn the alphabet in a fun and exciting way. The graphics are very cool. The sound is very crisp. Keeps them interested and learning all at once. I am giving it 5 Stars even though they need to add one thing. The one thing that needs to be added is the sounds of the letters should also be given. Overall great app for the little ones.

Great App

This is a really bright and colorful app. My sons love animals, as do most kids their ages and the animation is really good. Fun and entertaining app.

Great App but Drawings are too Simple

My daughter took right away to this app (shes 2 1/2) I like the random letters, not just sequintial letter. The graphics are poorly drawn so some of the animals are hard to make out (is it an alligator or an ameoba?). For that reason I purchased the alphabet app from the commercial, big mistake. Drawings are better but thats where it ends. The other app doesnt even sound out the letters. I should have bought this one instead. Improve the illustrations and I will.

Great

My daughter is almost 2 and was badly in need of learning letters. This app is great and she is really excited to play this app...if I even take out my iPhone she wants to play this app. I am impressed with the graphics and sounds--simple but effective for a toddler. Sure a couple pictures are way off but she actually laughs when she sees that inchworm that looks like an blue navi alien creature. My daughter is now on track with her letters and will be able to recognize and say the letter in another week. I highly recommend this app.

Great, but Buggy! Please Fix.

My 1 1/2 year old LOVES this game and keeps asking to play it. But I dont want him to because of the bugs. Often while advancing through the alphabet, either by flicking or using the arrow control, it will inevitably come up with a blank screen. The controls are there, but no letter, animal or anything else and you cant continue forward. Eventually it either jumps to Z or shows a weird partial screen and then I need to reboot it. This is very problematic. Also, some of the touch sensitivity is off and doesnt work that well. Some enhancements to consider: - A full alphabet / jump to a letter screen - An automatic setting that reads the letter, the animal and the sentence automatically and then advances to the next letter when touched (my son plays another game like this and its great and easy. Hes really learning from it.) Otherwise, the game, drawings and concepts are terrific. Ill change my review if these are fixed.
