Great Analog Pro Synth for OS X
I love analog synthesizers since the day I realized the piano wouldn’t fit in the car on the way to college, and after spending what it cost, realizing that math and computers could create sounds. I’m speculating by listening and the controls presented that it models analog cicruitry or at least the control thereof, to get vintage and new sounds. Just awaiintg a nice 800-patch factory preset deal (my hope, not a rumor), while trying to create my own. Wish there a bit more in the effects area, but if you can use it as an AU pluging birth OS X, then GarageBand and Logic X, and other AU / VST enabled workstation apps could fully mix and augment instruments and FX apps and plugins. Great deal, hard to go wrong, and quite enjoyable! Would recommened to friends and alreadey have received good feedback based on that. As a first release, you may find like I did that it “locks up” sometimews and just needs to be force quit and relaunched. Perhaps trash the prefs (nothing new on the Mac) and re-install if you’re like me, or contact their tech support folk. Rock on! (Oh, no piano sound so clasical music is to be found elsewhere).
