Art Museum (MatchEm Up™ History & Geography) is great fun as you match paintings from famous artists while classical music plays in the background. You will get to learn the titles of the paintings, the painter and to recognize the actual paintings in this matching game that lets the imagination fly. Each game consists of 4 rounds. In round 1 you match the paintings and learn their titles and the artist names. In round 2 you match the painting to the names of the artists. In round 3 you match the paintings to the title. The final round is all words as you match the titles with the artists. Each game randomly uses different paintings from a total selection of 43, but will use the same paintings through all 4 rounds. This enhances the ability to learn that set. The more you play the quicker you will get. You can also set it to just painters and titles in word only mode and there are 3 levels of difficulty each presenting more paintings per round. Features: - Matching of either 8, 12 or 18 paintings, artist names and titles across 4 rounds of play. - Great background music and sound effects. - Fun and educational at the same. - A point system that gives bonuses for extra concentration. - 3 different levels of play to increase the difficulty as you learn. - Word only mode if you just need to focus on artists names and title only. - Gallery mode to view all of the paintings so you can study and learn those you dont know. - Head 2 Head system for 2 players at once in fun turn based game. Real nice app! I would give 5 Stars, but when i Found à pair that Matches, the time i am able to Look at the Picture/to read the artist and the name of the Picture is Too short. There should Be more time. Or better the possibility to go Further manually. And the Picture should Be displayed bigger.

Very challenging for a person who doesnt know art very well. Also, the game is quite repetitive, I dont see me playing this anymore.

This is a great app that challenges your knowledge in arts. There are mini games within this game and its really fun. In round 1 of Memory Games, you have to match pairs of paintings (whether youre into arts or not, know the titles or not, chances are you know most of these famous paintings). This is very easy and the title and artists names are shown everytime you match a pair. Remember them, because in round 2 youll be asked to match the titles with the artists! There are 4 levels to this particular "Memory Game" part of Art Museum and it gets challenging. You can also choose "Gallery" to see all the paintings the app uses, "Pop quiz", which asks you things like who painted which painting and the titles, and finally..."Spell and Learn" which is a spelling and memory test in one to see how well you know and remember the great works and the people who created them! Its a really fun and educational game which comes with a bonus: classical music playing in the background!

Its a cool app. Its educational and has wonderful art pieces. Problems: The Paintings are too small, The names and titles are tiny, and no Retina Display support yet.
