so do I put in a mdpi png and this app resizes it? Wouldn’t that make the asset pixelated? There’s no instructions, website, and I wrote the support and haven’t recieved an answer.

Description
Asset Resizer quickly scales your Android app artwork to the targeted resolution sizes (ldpi, tvdpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi, xxxhpi).
To use, simply drop in an image asset that is the correct size for (or larger than) your largest desired export size and then hit export. The image will be resized to all chosen resolutions and saved in folders with the corresponding resolution scale names (mdpi, hdpi, etc.).
Scaling is based on the width and height values you assign the mdpi (standard) resolution, when you drop in an image these will automatically be set to the largest possible values for the resolutions youve selected in export settings.
For example, say you wish to scale an app icon image that at mdpi will be 48x48px and you wish to resize to all standard resolutions excluding tvdpi. First, set export settings to have checked all except tvdpi, then drag in your image. If the image is too small the values for mdpi will be set lower than 48x48px meaning you must either obtain higher resolution artwork or change your export targets. If the image is larger than required the width and height values will be higher and you will need to manually lower them to 48x48px to ensure correct resizing when exported. Once completed, exporting will in this case produce six folders all named according to resolution (ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi, xxxhpi), containing images at 36x36px, 48x48px, 72x72px, 96x96px, 144x144px and 192x192px.

Pretty Good With Room For Improvement
All in all, this does what you need…..but, there are two easy fixes that would make this just about perfect from my perspective. 1. Auto naming….i.e I already name all my XXXHDPI files but when I drag them in to app, it makes me name them again. That seems silly since I’ve already specified what I want them called. 2. No copy and paste in to the name input. This one is super annoying. Some file names get long and having to manually type everyone is an uneeded pain. Fix those two things above and it is a 5-star app. It will save you a bunch of time and even more if those two bugs are fixed.
Eliminated my asset headache
This did exactly what I needed it to do. It took a png image cut out of a design and scaled it appropriately for the various screen sizes. I could have done this myself but it would have been a headache. This little application took that headache away. Thanks!
Works great
Great little utility. Does exactly what it says. Defintiley worth the few bucks.
