The converter can analyze every single source file, calculate optimal values for Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Channels, Bit Depth, and apply calculated values to the output audio. Automatic audio settings preserve sound quality with minimum file size.

If you need to convert to a particular Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Codec, etc., you can set them up manually in Preferences / Format.

SOUND IMPROVEMENT

To Audio Converter Lite can adjust the volume with Peak or Loudness (EBU R128) normalization.
Loudness (EBU R128) normalizer ensures comfortable listening to your songs in the car.
Automatic Volume Control is an excellent addition to the Peak normalization of audio with too loud or soft parts, peaks, and clicks, including podcasts, interviews, audiobooks, and other voice recordings.

AUDIO EFFECTS

Apres quelques tentatives pour trouver un utilitaire opérationnel en Avril 2016 à un cout raisonnable pour simplement couvertir tout type de fichiers audio en MP3 pour mettre dans ma voiture, le seul qui a donné immediatement de bons résultats est cette application qui est gratuite. Certains outils suplementaires allant au dela de la simple convertion comme par exemple ceux relatifs aux rajouts ou modifications de TAGS ou aux pochettes manquantes sont payants mais comme je n’avais pas ce souci, la version de base me convient parfaitement et je ne peux que la recommander car elle est fonctionne sans problème

This program is alright, but it is not free. And it is not even a single price. They want to rent it to you for $20 a year. I am sorry, but for a batch audio converter that is not complex and cannot really improve to much year after year, renting is not a vialbe option.
