Past purchases are gone

While I understand the concept of impermanence, I would still like the issue I bought back in 2014 to be available. Only goes back to 2015.

Previous (2017) purchases are gone with update.

The app updated a few months ago and I am no longer able to retrieve any of my previous purchases from 2017 or earlier. I contacted the developer and did all the recommended procedures and they basically said “oh well, contact the publisher.” I have all my Apple receipts, but I’m not sure how this will help. Lion’s Roar Foundation should be aware they have a developer who may be ‘nonattached’ to their responsibility to resolve technical issues : ) It’s a good magazine, but be aware if you don’t read them promptly, you may lose them, permanently, unless impermanence means I might get them back someday...

Buddhadharma is great. The app that Buddhadharma uses for me to read electronic version is beyond worthless. (See reviews of PocketMag). I wish I could give this 0 stars. After downloading the current issue, the app hangs on loading. This is not an inexpensive journal. Im going to be asking for my money back. Terrible.
