If you cannot see the live preview then make sure that the macOS firewall does not block the UDP port 8554 (details: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201642).

+++ Installation instructions +++
- Enable Wifi ("app" or "phone+tablet" mode) on your GoPro Hero.
- Connect your GoPro using Wifi to your Mac. The default GoPro Wifi password is "goprohero".

+++ Connection problems +++
If the GoPro cannot be controlled with the app or the preview does not work then completely power off the GoPro by removing both the USB cable and the battery.

the video streaming is so poor, you can’t imagine how it lags. It’s like you have still pictures every 2 seconds. Useless. Even in WGA at 25p. And the quality… worst than the camera from my old nokia. 4€ in the air. Do not buy it!!!!

Dinheiro jogado fora, tenho um Hero 4 silver, segui as instruções e não consegui conectar. Se resolver meu problema mudo a qualificação aqui

Até conecta com a Gopro, depois de muito tentar. Mas o lag é muito ruim, não é possível trabalhar com um atraso de imagem desse.

Verbindung nur über WiFi, nicht über Kabel. Ein LiveView ist möglich, aber die Einstellung der Kamera funktioniert in meinem Fall nicht. Einstellungen werden nicht übertragen bzw. nicht angenommen. GoPro hero 3+ Schade
