Description

This program will allow a compatible Canon camera to capture the events of the eclipse with the proper exposures and timing. The user is required to provide the coordinates AND IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE CORRECT TIME. The program then takes over scripting what photo is required when. It also assists in focusing. It will operate with either a telescope or a lens. This App is rated 17+ since an adult should be operating the camera during an eclipse. Adults should review the important safety information on the support URL before pointing a camera at the sun.

Version History

Fixes problems with internationalization on the camera preferences dialog. This fixes an internalization problem when entering lat/long on a non eng-US system. Redesigned the site editor to eliminate the toggles and instead just accept signed values. There are a couple of other safety checks added. The website has been updated to reflect these changes including adding the missing documentation that 3 different forms of lat/long are supported This contains some additional functionality for exporting/importing the script. I have also added some code to reject incompatible scripts. Finally, CE now tests that the imported script is for the originally configured site (but the user is allowed to override the test). WARNING: Use of this feature remains at the user's risk.
