Money Management - Track your spending habits at Mac App Store analyse

I have entered expenses and income and nothing saves...even after saving it. Uninstalling as not being able to track income or expenses is useless.

Its been so helpful for keeping track of my money. I never really kept track of my spending and income before, but now that I actually have a steady job and am paying rent its a lot more important now. By seeing my spending patterns with the reports, Ive been able to notice trends in unnecessary spending (such as on fast food and candy) and cut back to save for things like vacation. Its crazy seeing how a few dollars here and there can add up, and this app is helping me realize that! I especially love that I can input my expenses immediately with this app so I dont forget to do it later. The plus subscription is totally worth it to have unlimited accounts and envelopes, because I really need help organizing everything, and I get all my questions answered by the great support team, too!

I have used quicken in the past so I am comparing this app to quicken which I use on a PC. This app has a lot lacking. Reconciling is not easy, and it should mark it in a way so that I know it was cleared without having to hide it. Also I cant figure out how to delete a transaction. Also quicken automatically populated a category for a certain store or restaurant. So for McDonalds it would choose dining for the category. If you have ever used quicken you will find out this app is somewhat frustrating. I would pay more for more features. So hope they keep improving this app.

I have been using the app for for a while and now I can see my savings thanks to the tracking of my income vs expenses. Keep up with the good work.

I tried a few apps out and liked this one best. Some of the others I tried had more features, but I love how the default view is just totals of each category with whats left still to spend that month (or week or day, you can pick), which is all I need. I was able to set up separate "accounts" to use as an emergency fund and a travel fund, and can transfer whats left at the end of the month to those. It can be locked with a passcode, it has everything I need. If youre looking for an app that lets you set a monthly budget that has goals for each category, this isnt the app for you, but I prefer this set-up because I only care whether I stayed in budget at the end of the month.
