This app is fake doesnt wok.

I recently bought some US currency from a currency mart and this app told me it was fake ! This app does not work !

Please dont buy this app, this is a joke. Its not a real app Im really unhappy for this bad app. Give me my money back please.

Either I just got 10 fake $20 from the bank or the app is bogus!

First, this app is hilarious, great fun, once you understand how it REALLY WORKS. Overall, I give it 5 starts for its innovation, and effectiveness -- not because the instructions are written well, nor because the app will fail consistently if you FOLLOW the directions. So, to the developers --KUDOS! -- but rewrite the instructions. First, the app will only show "Authentic" if you hold the display in a certain way -- namely by holding your thumbs at the diagonal ends, WITHIN THE SCANNING AREA, AND NOT OUTSIDE OF IT, DURING THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE SCAN. If you do this, it will work 100%. Tapping the screen once or twice during the scan will yield inconsistent and primarily incorrect results. The instructions need to be rewritten -- or perhaps the app. itself needs to be rewritten to enable "one tap" execution. Also, guys, I know you are programmers, not grammar specialists, but do have someone proofread your instructions for correct punctuation, missing words, etc. It will help the "image and the professionalism" of your program. Having said all of this, its worth $.99 -- and I still rate it 5 stars. Incidentally, to get around the issue of holding the iphone by the diagonal ends, I tell people that the "counterfeit area" is always found in the center area of the bill. Because thats where all of the detailed line drawings of the bill are located. That explanation always works. Hopefully, this will help others to work the app -- and buy it -- cause if you dont, youre missing out on a great app -- with a terrific look and feel!
