a message pops while trying to record kids name even when mic is on, and app would not proceed after that.

4 year old LOVES Curious About Me

I have three kids (8,6,4) and my littlest is dying to read like the big kids! The Curious About Me app is a wonderful way to get the non readers and new readers like him to write their own story. And THEN the app reads the story back to them. Curious George and the man with the yellow hat walk you and your child through a series of questions all about them. How much do kids like to talk about themselves, right? They get to draw pictures, take pictures and videos, record their voices, and use pictures available on the device they’re using. They can use all these mediums to tell their story. My 4yo got such a kick out of hearing his own voice and seeing his pics and videos in the story with Curious George. He can’t wait to go back and rewrite his story and to create new ones.

Buggy app and frustrated kid

Theres a bug in this app that says the microphone isnt on when it is. No big deal except that it is the 3rd step in the app and it wont continue without it. A waste of money on an expensive app. Dont waste your time or your kids frustration. My little guy is pretty upset.

Lots of fun but buggy

Hours of interactive fun with my child and me but after first story saved we loss sound! Would not recover sound after reboot and reinstall, angry because lost all the efforts in the first story after reinstall and still no sound.

The whole family had a blast with it, even the older kids. It would be great if there were more than 2 stories to chose from.

Im not a fan of games that ask my daughters name, what color her hair & eyes are with an option to post her pic. Does she have pets? Where does she live with an option to post a pic of her house. All for a quick video recapping the highlights. Ummmm, maybe Im a paranoid mom, but, no. Game deleted.
