The preset buttons are similar to the station buttons on a car radio. It can always activate one radio station (in our case, only one preset). For example, if preset 1 is active and the user presses preset 3, then preset 1 will be deactivated while in turn preset 3 will be activated. The presets 5 to 8 can function instead of "radio buttons" as momentarily or push buttons (lateral switch set to "ON"). Actuation of pushbutton therefore does not reset the previously selected preset, but additionally sends the assigned DMX functions. When released, the previously activated functions are automatically set back. This key mode is particularly suitable for the activation of temporarily required functions or effects, for example, flashes of light or fog emission, used meaningfully. In the light control via DMX has a so-called "Black Out" or "BO" - proven functional. Here all the connected DMX devices will be set to a defined state (all values ​​to zero) thus can be switched with one touch.
