Double Photo Cleaner - Get rid of duplicate photos at Mac App Store analyse

Worked perfectly just as it said… If you want to get your photo library organized this is an excellent tool. However, I have to add that there are teething problems with this version of the program as it does its job but not without crashing once or twice before its complete… I think an update is in order before it is perfected. So if you are the developer reading this check out the Apple Reports you are getting sent when this thing crashes and fix it, then you will have a real hit on your hands. Until then, good job, but keep working at it!

This app has potential but is not ready from prime time; So, far the best I have been able to do is delete a few files. When you through large data sets at it, it hangs. Small duplicates bring up so many "are you sure you want to delete" dialog boxes it can consume the entire system. Things that are missing: Progress on deletion; When deletion completes, it only says complete and gives you a cancel. Hash seem to hash more than the file contents -- the file can have a different name and the hash will not match! I think you need to modify your hash scheme or make it more user selectable. Hash just the file data, not the create date, file name….. The layout of the screen needs work, especially for files that are the same -- seems like they should be brought up side by side instead of one at a time.

This does not find all duplicates and actually misses some that should be easy to detect. Not worth the money, find another prog.

There is NO help..... My friend & I gave this app a try. We were unable to get it to work. I gave the apple store a call. we were unable to get any support. The app did not work!

Horrible Application, completely messed my whole iphoto up. Please refund!
