Easy Audio Recorder at Mac App Store analyse

I’ve tried several programs like this; some good, some not so good. This program is the best of the bunch. Simple and easy to use, and, in my opinion, this program might be simple, but it’s als simply great!

This promo claims that the application will record from any source. THIS IS FALSE! It will only record from sources available to any other sound or music application on your dock. For a Macintosh IT WILL NOT RECORD MAC AUDIO. (It “claims” to be compatible with OS 7 or later! OK, yes, it’ll run; but it won’t do what you want it to do.)

This app provides me an excellent and user friendly digital recorder for my songs. I typically use a CAD USB condenser mike and my MacBook Pro, play an acoustic 6 string or 12-string guitar and sing my songs for initial recording tracks. I am a folk singer songwriter, so I do not need the complexity of GarageBand or Logic Pro X for recording my songs. I just use a guitar, my voice and occasionally a harmonica. I use SongBook on my iPad and Mac and use Easy Audio Recorder to record the music track and copy it to the song folder that contains the lyrics and chords on a sheet from SongBook. Highly recommended!

Looking for an application to record myself reading a textbook so that I can listen to it in the car, working out, etc, to help me study. This app is perfect and simple. Easily recorded 2+ hours of audio the first night I downloaded this app. If you are looking for super simple record and playback capabilites, this app is great. I have not tried it to mix sound, record music, etc, just simple speech.

You cant choose the directory of the audio file. All files are storaged at one certain folder you can not change. The files are rather big as well. Very limited optins to chenage format.
