Description
The EMC Documentum IRM mobile client allows iPhone, iPad and iPod users to view and print sensitive, protected documents while they are on the road. Documents are protected using high-security encryption and are easily accessed when users verify their identity with a central IRM server over a wireless connection. IRM-protected documents can be centrally managed either by document owners or by automated policies.
Here is a quick overview of what is available as part of EMC Documentum IRM mobile client:
* Ability to open, scroll, page through or print protected or unprotected documents
* Documents may be email attachments, synched via iTunes or accessible from the Cloud (future)
* Access Help facility via the IRM client
The EMC Documentum IRM mobile client is part of a broader suite of Documentum products which allow organizations complete control over critical documents and content, including retention, records and rights management. IRM-protected document cover a wide number use-cases and may be intended for and organizations clients, vendors, employees or partners.
