English Thesaurus at Mac App Store analyse

…for an inexplicable reason, this apps interface is stuck in the middle of the screen. I use my dictionary apps while I write, positioning them on the right side of my screen for quick access which is impossible with this app. Im extremely annoyed since this app is much less useful since it always disappears behind my word processor, costing me more time than my other dictionary apps. I just dont get it. Ive never seen an app that doesnt let me position and resize its interface. So until this changes, 1 star from me.

I have 2 dictionaries, the one that came with my computer and WordBook. Both have a better thesaurus than this so-called thesaurus. I bought it becuase I wanted to be able to look up phrases as well as words, and it is very limited in both areas. Keep looking if you want a reliable thesaurus.

In addition to the great function of this app, is the visually appealing and customizable background. Unfortunately, the brown app icon does not preview the graphic delight that awaits inside, nor does it invite permanent display on ones menu bar. Though this app has amazing potential, I would prefer the synonyms and antonyms stacked in a column, rather than lined in a row, as that would likely make it easier to compare and contrast. I would also like for the search bar to auto-activate when the app is reopened, so I dont have to click into the search bar each time. Overall, I am pretty impressed and pleased with the fantastic value. Great Work!

If you are looking for a thesaurus with some teeth - this is not it. This provides limited options and is not flexible. For instance, you want other choices for a simple word - like programs. Here is the only thing you get: 1. (software) «Computer Science, concrete THATS IT!! Hope you were not interested in any other uses of this word! I wish I would have not spent money on this.

The app is quite useful, but the content quality tends to vary word by word. Itd be nice to see more synonyms added and a clearer arrangement. My biggest gripe with the app is the imposibility to reduce the size of the window - quite annoying really.

This thesaurus is very lacking in words, which is the reason to own and use a thesaurus. Its synonyms are limited, and its grammatical usages of what words it offers are more so. Fortunately it was only two bucks.
