This encyclopaedic dictionary comprises terms relating to energy. Although it is a reference work for technicians, professionals and experts, we are keen that it should reach the wider public since information on the world of energy is needed in many fields like education and the media. The dictionary has 1,163 entries, each one with its definition, plus 136 encyclopaedic articles and 306 illustrations. To look something up on this app, the term can be entered in Basque, Spanish, English or French. The result of the consultation will be the definition in Basque of the term entered and its equivalent term in Basque, Spanish, English or French. What is more, a search can be run for the term according to the field it belongs to, and the text of the definition includes links to the terms that are dictionary entries. The dictionary was published for the first time in 2000 in book format; since 2002, it has been available for consultation over the Internet, and the mobile app was developed in 2013 after updating and typesetting tasks had been carried out. The content of this dictionary has been produced by a large group of experts in the matter: university lecturers, professionals in companies, EVE/EEE-Basque Energy Board technicians, etc.
