FindMyCar is a iphone application that uses the location services to help you find your car.
Simply save your car position. You can now close FindMycar.
To find your car, open the application and click the "Find My Car" button
to open the google maps and give you directions to get to your car.
There are several levels of accuracy:
- POOR (Accuracy > 300 meters)
- FAIR (Accuracy < 300 meters)
- MODERATE (Accuracy < 200 meters)
- GOOD (Accuracy < 100 meters)
- EXCELLENT (Accuracy < 50 meters with GPS)
- IDEAL (Accuracy < 40 meters with GPS)
To be able to save or find your car position you need to have at least the GOOD level.
IMPORTANT:
FindMyCar works better with iphone 3G because GPS is more accurate than GSM localisation.

Lidée mais cest tout...
Le concept est genial mais l application est vraiment baclée... Elle devrait etre gratuite tant quelle nest pas serieuse. - le bouton " find my car" ne fonctionne meme pas ! - on ne peut pa regler la precision! (Apres reboot de l iphone)

Cette application serait réellement super si la précision était au rdv. Même en "précision excellente", la précision est de plusieurs centaines de mètres!!! Vivement une maj.

17kms alors que la voiture est à 100 mètres de moi.
Très bon produit
Peu naturellement enclin à croire une publicité sans contrôler le produit et rendu méfiant par les critiques assez sévères sur ces produits, jen ai essayé 3 : un très bon, un bon et un assez lamentable. Le meilleur est Findmycar, ou "trouve mas voiture". Jai fait aujourdhui 4 éssais tests : zone commerciale, ville et campagne avec des distance de 200 mètres, 1.2 km, 9.5 km et 17 kms. Le stationnement a été trouvé avec une précision inférieure à 5 mètres. Conditions indispensable : avoir une localisation GPS excellente. En plus, litinéraire est précis, clair et à jour ! Jaurais mis 5 étoiles si le produit était en français. Messieurs les développeurs, la france existe et le fançais que je suis, nul en anglais !!
