HAVE FUN and hunt the word. If you miss, the letter disappears, so finding the right one gets easier. The animal will jump with joy, each time you hit the right one. And it will shake its head, when you miss.
TRY AGAIN, and in a few times you have learned:
• The name of the animal
• Words consist of letters: you hear them, when you hit the right ones, and only when it is the next one in the word
• Words are written as a string of letters
• The letters must be in a certain sequence to form the word
• How the letters sound and how it looks
• How the word sounds and look
How is that for a beginning to spell, read and write? Simple, straightforward and fun!
Let your little ones loose and watch them grow.
