This is extremely easy to use. The calculator’s window is resizable making it very easy to read. The three keypads are great. This is my favorite calculator. I wish my other calculators had resizable windows and where as thoughtfully layed out. Perfect!

WOW! This is great. I wish other calculators where as well thought out.
Quits unexpectedly
Purchased and installed this on 2 Macs with Yosemite. It quits “unexpectedly” on both.
From Zero to Hero
re: v1.1.1 Love the idea of this. Have a similar app on my iPhone, but would be convenient to have on my Mac. Never opens. Always crashes on launch. Have contacted developer and waiting on response. Not only did they respond, they immediately gave me a workaround to use till the fix came out. This version now works without having to install fonts not needed by the OS (but installed by default with the OS). In the printing/layout industry, it’s not uncommon to pare down the installed fonts to just what’s necessary for the OS to use, and use a font manager like Extensis Suitcase Fusion for all other fonts to be enabled/disabled as needed. That practice is what caused this app to fail, it needed a font that I normally have disabled. Added the font back in and the app worked, but to my dismay, it only used the number keys above the qwerty row, not the number pad laid out like their own app’s number pad. I mentioned this to them last week after using their workaround. re: current v1.1.2 Now, less than a week later, a new version is out and not only does it not need me to install/enable specific fonts, it also has added support for the number keypad. That makes them not only helpful, but responsive to customer feedback and makes the app almost perfect, which is why I’ve changed my rating from 1 to 4. The only improvement that comes to mind now would be adding a decimal key. I know I’m constantly adding decimal numbers from a online book spine calculator to hardbound book templates from various vendors that invariably use fractions. Don’t know if many other’s need to work with decimal/fraction combinations, but I would definitely appreciate the ability. Until then, kudos for a very intuitive app and for your quick turnaround on the fix.
