keine Ahnung warum, aber mein import lässt das programm abstürzen. nutze mxf-files vom videoserver „K2“ von Grass Valley.

Ich benötige die Software für Professionelle zwecke und wollte damit weitgehend verlustfrei MXF zu ProRes 422 konvertieren. Das ist leider nicht möglich. Es stehen nur weniger Codecs zur verfügung - Diese sind für die Nachbearbeitung des Materials alle ungeeignet. Auf den ersten Blick sah es für mich auch so aus, als könnte man keine 1080p ausgeben.

the exports of this program are completely useless and horrible. attempts to recover a refund of the paid version of this app with the software company have resulted in many emails pointing to their policy and free offerings such as this as a way out of what is ultimately false advertising. the product advertised here does not do what it claims. it’s not even about the money. consumers of the Apple App Store should be protected from total garbage. offering a crippled “free” version as a demo does not give a company the right to sell garbage and advertise it as a professional product. anyone who is using Panasonic P2 media has no need of this garbage app. it’s not even a consumer app. it simply does not deliver a usable product.

This App can be found on the web under many different names. MXFconvertermac,imixmxd, and so on. None of them worked for my purpose, although it was advertised for it. Either this is a scam, just bad software or it is not clearly explained, how to use it. I have tried to convert some MXF files into a file format, that I could use with iMovie. All I got was the audio.
