I find it very valuable and reliable. If I may leave a suggestion, can we pls have the word of the day in German as well, without having to switch each and every time? Also have the user set the default language of the dictionary. At the moment it seems to be geared for the german student needing to learn english. Tks.

The easiest way to tell whether or not a German dictionary is useful is if it includes the genders of nouns. This program does not. Since gender is an essential component of German grammar, that makes this program a waste of time and money. Also translations are only one way -- you can enter English words to find German equivalents only, not vice versa. The quiz feature is a nice addition, but not enough to warrant even the modest price of this shoddy app.

The look of this app is appealing and its potential is great. The depth of the dictionary is commendable and the search speed is adequate. The Word if the Day feature is nice, but should include a syntactical example. The lack of gender is criminal considering its fundamental importance.
