I was going to buy a Gibraltar 5706ex snare stand which would have costed 71 dollars with tax. THEN came in google express that not only showed me the same stand for a few dollars cheaper but, a 20% promo code for the New Years! I only had to pay 56 dollars for my concert snare stand thanks!!!
Lots of spam notifications
Uninstalling until they get rid of the junk spam notifications. I don’t need to randomly receive notifications suggesting that I buy crap.
Prices are marked up
At some point along the line Google gave up on trying to get people to subscribe like a Prime membership. I noticed items from Costco not being is cheap as they were. I checked a few items from my shopping list that I would regularly use the app to shop for and noticed items were indeed marked up. One item was about $12. It seemed awesome to get free shipping if I ordered $35 or more, but now I see they are just rolling the shipping cost into the price of the item.
Worst shopping experience!
My order came damaged. It was vey heavy I haired some one put together. Once we open the box the item was damaged. I called manufacturer and they want to refund but I ordered through google express and google express won’t process the refund!!! So now I am loosing money because of I use google express!!! I wish I should have directly from the manufacturer’s website. Lesson learned.
Stay away
Zero functionality. Doesn’t provide you with shipping and tracking information. Instead it is sending you to website of the seller. That seller website doesn’t recognize your info so you can check the crystal ball if you want to know if your items is shipped and when it is arriving. I called customer service and I have been on hold for 20 minutes at the end I hung up to stop wasting my time. All in all I will delete this app as soon as I get my order if I ever get it Update: Item ordered on December 29th with guaranteed delivery on January 3rd. Now it is January 4th and app still shows delivery by January 3rd. I had to chat with customer service to find out that they will deliver on 7th, 10 days later. I am deleting this and from now one sticking with Amazon and Ebay. This is the last time I am using anything with google involved in it.
