Not Rational?
I have a number of issues with what should be (and is, in Microsoft land) a very simple game. First, the game has frozen on me a number of times, where I am unable to play a card, and have to exit the game. This can be annoying (especially so depending on how youre doing). More importantly though, the "other players" (when playing against the computer) are not in the least bit rational. Example: in my last game - the first of a new set, the player to my right was void in clubs on the first card played. The second card played was the ace of spades (!) but no queen was played. You might assume this meant that the player who led the ace would also have the queen. Not so here! On the next play, a club was played and the player on my right played the queen of spades. Any rational player would have played it when the ace of spades was played, but of course, no rational player would have played the ace of spades, even if they were trying to shoot the moon. I have often seen players lead the queen of spades, when they had a choice. Or play our an entire suit, even if the queen of spades hadnt yet been played. I suppose you could argue that playing in a random fashion can be interesting, but if I wanted that, Id play my kids. Overall not worth it.
awsome
Most card games are predictable but this one is very randome. There is no pattern of what my next hand will look like, as it should be. Nice work guys.
Lots of fun
I really enjoy playing this game. It has a very good group of online participants, allowing for challenging, strategic games, with players from around the world. If you like Hearts, this is the version to buy.
Mr.
Hearts by GrassGames is an excellent game and I enjoy it fully. Possibly, it is one of the best card games for computers. I would have loved if I could have replaced the names and photographs of other players, which would have enabled me to mark it 5 star. Hope the next version will have this facility. Best of luck to the producers and programmers!
There are a lot of positive things
However, the play is really slow. Clicking cards on the passing is very clunky and not intuitive.
Hearts
Its Hearts, Game play is fast and clean. Just need more online players. Maybe a rating system.. And general rooms to join.
