HTML Teacher is a unique way to learn beginning HTML.

It teaches HTML through interactive lessons that let you try out each new tag and see the results in a browser pane right away.

An editor, web previewer, and file uploader are built-in.

At first, you choose tags from a menu, to eliminate misspellings; then youre free to type them yourself. A built-in HTML checker points out errors. Best of all, you can upload pages to a real website from within the app, with no signup or extra fees required, and then share that website with your friends and family.

This app is intended for students from grades 4 and up, but its suitable for adults, too. (Not for those who already know HTML basics. No advanced topics like tables, forms, and CSS.)

Once youve mastered the HTML taught by HTML Teacher, youre ready to move on to the easy-to-use, yet powerful, site-building app SiteKite, also in the Mac App Store.

I like how easy it was to learn from. The only thing that made me frustrated is when its "your turn" to write html it didnt let you manually type in the html. I dont like that it brings up a list that you HAVE to choose from. It should allow you to type it in by yourself and have the list there as a reference.

Its For Super n00bs

I have no prior HTML experiance or programming for that matter. I was able to make it through all "49" slides and fully understand them in like 2 hrs. I wish there was a little more: Like an example on how to make a mail signature...

An absolute beginnners best choice.

Having played with this app for a good amount of time, I can honestly say its an excelent choice for those absolute beginners with no prior experience in coding. If you are looking to sharpen your skills in HTML, or have some kind of background in HTML, look elsewhere.
