Human Resource Machine is a puzzle game. In each level, your boss gives you a job. Automate it by programming your little office worker! If you succeed, youll be promoted up to the next level for another year of work in the vast office building. Congratulations!
Dont worry if youve never programmed before - programming is just puzzle solving. If you strip away all the 1s and 0s and scary squiggly brackets, programming is actually simple, logical, beautiful, and something that anyone can understand and have fun with!
KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Demonstrates understanding of serial input and output modes as well as primitive stack operations
- Demonstrates understanding of load/store operations
- Demonstrates understanding of primitive arithmetic operations implemented by a computer and the composition of complex operations based on these primitive operations
- Demonstrates understanding of boolean logic, sub-routines, and loops through the effective use of conditional and unconditional branching
- Demonstrates ability to design and implement new algorithms based on general computer science principles
- Demonstrates ability to successfully reduce an algorithm to only the essential statements
- Demonstrates ability to successfully minimize the steps to process each input in an algorithm
