The app draws the complete code database directly from the data files available at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). ICD10 Consult also provides full searchable and browsable access to the old ICD9-CM codes which were in use until October 1, 2015.

I use this app 15-25 times per day for coding my paper charts. Accurate, easy to use, and links me to related codes that are otherwise left off of billing.

I have tried several applications for iCD 10 coding and this is the best. I even like it much more than the cumbersome printed ICD 10 book from the AMA.

This is a spectacular application. It saves me countless hours in clinical documentation because it is easy, intuitive, fast (on iPhone 6+), accurate (as far as I can tell), and very specific. I highly recommend it for anyone who writes clinical documents or needs to specify ICD 10 codes. I find it to be much faster than searching for codes via Google or one of the ICD 10 site search engines. I also find it to be more user-friendly, convenient, and fast for my purposes (clinical documentation). This app takes the guesswork out of specifying an ICD 10 code correctly and completely. It seems to be just as complete and certainty faster and obviously lighter than most complete ICD coding paper manuals that I have see (AMA, OPTIM360).
