IP Scanner for Macintosh scans your local area network to determine the identity of all machines and internet devices on the LAN. Powerful results, yet easy and intuitive to use.
IP Scanner is all about customizing the way you view your network. You may apply custom names and icons to the devices on your network and adjust the type and amount of information you see in the network overview; dont need to see the MAC address column...dont display it! Text too small...make it larger!
IP Scanner can be used in several primary modes: as a way to get a quick overview of which devices are currently on the network, including seeing which devices are actively and passively present, or view network changes over time with IP Scanners cumulative mode, including options to display devices which were once present but now no longer visible.
Finally, by using the whitelist feature you may filter out known and trusted devices to reveal new or unexpected ones, a great way to easily identify unwanted network visitors.

•Sort network list by device name, IP address, MAC address or Last Seen
•Growl support for notifications of newly discovered devices and changes in device state
•Right-click a device to obtain additional contextualized tool options, including Ping and Port Scan tools

Simple et efficace
Et nmap ??
Cette Appli fait très bien son boulot. Cependant, je trouve que limiter le nombre dappareils découverts à 6 est tout simplement inadmissible quand on sait que des utilitaires libres et gratuits comme nmap permettent de le faire et dune manière bien plus complète. Dailleurs, je pense que IP Scanner nest quune surcouche graphique de nmap....
29 dollars ?
Joli application, alléchante, avant de voir le prix de la version "utilisable" je me disais que jusqua 5 euros, je laurais prise... bilan, 29 euros, bcp trop cher comparativement aux fonctionnalités, et sans doute un mauvais calcul car à 5 euros, bcp plus de gens feraient le pas je pense (mais je peux me tromper ;o). Bilan: dommage, je viens de la desinstaller.

interface et information sont ultra minimalistes...allez ouste, je désinstalle...

beaucop trop cher pour la version complète. Version gratuite trop limité
Inutile
Juste 6 appareils détéctable en version gratuite. Dans un réseau perso même avec une dizaine dappareils je suis capable de les identifier sans logiciel. Pour en savoir plus il faut débourser près de 30€. Beaucoup trop chère pour une application minimaliste. Désinstallation et continue à utiliser Fing.

La version free ne sert à rien, limitée à 6... la version payante à 30 € !!!! pour scanner les adresses IP !!! Ya pas écrit LA POSTE comme disent les jeuns :-) Nimporte quoi...
