DUva Workshop presents the official application to visit one of the most important pilgrim sites in the world: the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. A male voice will accompany us on a discovery tour of the Basilica, one of the four Papal Churches of Roma, situated on the top of the Esquilino hill, telling the story of the splendour of the architecture and the richness of the decorations. The multimedia guide is part of the ‘iView-Rome’ editions, dedicated to the main historical artistic and religious important sites of the ‘eternal city’, and comprises 5 listening points, wit music and sound effects, lasting a total of about 20 minutes, an introduction video and a zoomable and interactive map of the Basilica with the possibility of selecting listening points to find the position that interests you inside the Basilica. A unique opportunity to discover through your iPod or iPhone, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, that still conceals within a very special atmosphere and history that is ready to unfold itself to anyone who wants to listen. This app is currently available in Italian and English. The Spanish, French and German versions , and a special version for iPad, will be available shortly.
 The product is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch, requiring 3.0 or later versions.

Not worth a penny.

This app is barely functional and only offers 4 (thats right, 4) tidbits of information. If you toggle from the app to your camera, it restarts. None of the 4 tracks are segmented, so when you do take a pic, you have to figure out where you were with a slide bar. The intro you can only play from the beginning, you cannot pause it or leave the screen or you have to start over. Please, trust me and dont buy this app. They spent more time and money on the display/advertisement of this app than the actual app.
