In 1961, a few youngsters in Railway Grounds got together to form a team. Their aim was to form a cricket team, enjoy games and participate in local tournaments. Fire with Enthusiasm and aiming for the sky, this dedicated band of youngsters transformed this into a Sports & Cultural Trust to promote and encourage sport among youngster. The trust is involved in sponsoring promising talents and also provides sports materials to various government school. The trust is also involved in philanthropic activities like sponsoring meals for poor students at schools in and around Bangalore. About JAI KARNATAKA Trophy: Jai Karnataka T10 Tennis Ball Tournament was an initiative taken by Ashwath Kumar to encourage the Talent in Karnataka in the field of Cricket. Jai karnataka Sports and Cultural Trust ® was established in the year 1961, we started to organize Cricket Tournament in the year 2004 exclusively for Tennis Ball Lovers. The Tournament was an immense success in providing the right platform to young and budding cricketers of Karnataka. International recognised players like Dodda Ganesh, David Johnson & S. Arvind who have represented Jai Karnataka before their debut in International cricket have played very important role in building this organization. Keeping the chain of Zeal, support and encouragement of our Manager Shri. Ashwath Kumar, this year we have put forward to conduct the same cricket tournament for all Cricket Lovers. SALIENT FEATURES OF THE TOURNAMENT ø Only invited teams across India will be invited to participate in the Tournament. Matches will be played on 10 over basis for each team ø Third umpire facility is also provided to ensure far decisions ø During the tournament, eminent personalities including celebrities will be invited, adding flavour to the tournament ø Refreshment stand will be set up.
