Kann nicht starten

Ich wollte das Software starten, weil ich damit arbeite. Ich habe eine Menge Geld dafür bezahlt und lässt sich nicht öffnen. Auf keinen Fall kaufen!!!!!

No Portuguese?

I could not believe there is no German/Portuguese option in this new app! Verdammt!

Was passiert?

Update, yet another “free dictionary until whatever month”? Give me a break! Auweia, zu den andauernden Problemen nun das nach dem unnötigen Update (ich habe bereits das Pro Wörterbuch Franzöisch installiert): "“Langenscheidt Dictionaries” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “Langenscheidt Dictionaries” and download it again from the App Store." Nach dem letzten Update: “Langenscheidt Dictionaries” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “Langenscheidt Dictionaries” and download it again from the App Store.” The developer is worse than incapable - apparently sees his/her raison d’être in wasting customers’ time. Unbelievable! Nicht schlecht, anscheinend findet es der Entwickler lustig, den Kunden jeden Tag die App neu zu installieren. Ein erneutes “Danke”! Und es kann “besser” kommen: "“Langenscheidt Dictionaries” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “Langenscheidt Dictionaries” and download it again from the App Store.” “Danke” für das verspätete Weihnachtsgeschenk. Auweia… Null Punkte.

Comprehensive offline dictionary

I have come to like Langenscheidts high quality translations. You can question whether you need it given online resources. But it does have high-quality data and is also available when youre traveling. Its also great to have the domain translations such as technical or economy or ..... And, seriously, who would still look up things in an actual heavy-weight dictionary if theres a computer solution that you always got with you? Downsides: - you have to manually select with the mouse in which direction to translate. Seriously? How hard can it be to search both directions at once? - Thesaurus functionality is missing, which is a realy pity and weaker than some free online dictionaries. I still like the quality of the data though. - why do I manually have to select which dictionary to search through? If a word cant be found in one, just use the other. Or just show the merged entries one after the other with a little symbol saying which dictionary they came from. - Langenscheidt should register themselves as a source for Force Click on words to improve user experience. - I am a little annoyed that they update the app every month with the only change being a free lexicon of the month. Some investment in the basic software should have higher impact. Hidden feature: - you probably didnt notice but if you happen to be able to locate the paragraph key on your keyboard then Command-Paragraph lets you look up words in Langenscheidt from any application. Thats awesome. Except for the paragraph key. You can change that in systems keyboard settings.

Just a marketing tool

This application is "free", but it gives you hardly any functionality at all, unless you purchase the in-app dictionaries. Besides, all the in-app dictionaries I saw were German: German-French-German, German-Danish-German, German-Russian-German, etc. In other words, unless you speak German and unless you are willing to pay 10-80.00 euro extra, this app is a waste of time. To be honest, Langenscheidts dictionaries are usually great, so if you happen to speak German and to be willing to pay for 10.00-80.00 euro for the dictionaries, this app may be perfect for you.

Gratuit…mon oeil

Ce qui est gratuit cest une boite vide, pour lutilisation il faut acheter des modules. Tout les modules pour lAllemand = env. 90,00€. Et il ny a même pas la traduction de lexpression "foutage de gueule" pourtant la plus utile dans ce cas.
