To mark 70 years since the D-Day landings, Quelle Histoire is offering a great app to let the youngest understand the historic day of 6th June 1944. From the preparations for Operation Overlord to the start of the Battle of Normandy, this app retraces the major stages which led to the Allies retaking Europe. In the spirit of Quelle Histoire apps, “D-Day for kids” offers an educational and fun approach designed for children between 6 and 10 years of age. Ten animated and interactive images invite children to discover each of the stages of this great moment in history. Maps with legends situate the events and focus sheets allow them to memorise the important items. Lastly, the games encourage them to learn while having fun. Un superbe graphisme. Bravo mon fils de 8 ans a réussi à rester scotché plus de 15 minutes. On aime. A quand la bataille de Normandie ?

Ma fille de 7 ans adore lhistoire et les histoires racontées par "quelle histoire". Jai donc payé pour "le débarquement" et pour "Jean Paul II". Elle était ravie den avoir 2 nouvelles. Malheureusement une fois les appli payées impossible de les installer car mon iPod est mis à jour avec la version iOS 5.1.1 et non iOS 6.1. Il est inadmissible de ne pas être prévenu avant !!! Dautant que je narrive pas à mettre la nouvelle version.....
