Dont buy this
- Dont buy this app its just a repackaging of free unix tutorials from Lynda.com in an app + some multiple choice exams **** ITS NOT AN INTERACTIVE UNIX SHELL TRAINING APP*****
Awesome
This is an excellent app. It really teaches a lot of useful things. However the app crashs at the end of every video and the narrator keeps referencing files for demos that I can’t figure out how to get. Please update!
Terrible!
There seems to be a lot of info but accessing it is totally terrible. I am running on a quad core i7 with all flash so power or speed is no issue. The app has a series of videos that scroll along at a maddeningly slow crawl for the most mundane commands. Its setup like watching the words of a book scroll along in an animation of some sort. Try looking at a one line sentence for what seems like 10 minutes before the next line is magically revealed. By then, you have dropped dead of boredom! You have to keep dragging the panning button to get anywhere. And yes it crashes at the end of every video too! Cmon, someone teaching unix should be better than this!!!
