I downloaded the MC North America app, so why did I receive the UK version when I purchased an issue?

I requested North America and am only getting UK. Very disappointed especially after buying a subscription. I wrote to Marie Claire Customer Support and got nothing. Dont bother!!!

Okay, I had the previous MC iPad "app" that you had to BUY the digital magazine when you were already a print subscriber. Yes, they finally listened and put out an app like everybody else where print subs. Can have free access, but... Why do I see a "sample" of the October issue for download, and underneath I see the issue for a whooping $7.99?!?!? So whats free is just the sampler, or is the issue going to be available for me much later than it is for those who are purchasing it..? I never understood this in the US. And Im not at all looking down on anyone, but in Brazil for instance, when you subscribe to a magazine, the issue is distributed to subscribers first. Because you are paying for it, in advance, you are a loyal customer and are treated like one. Here, newsstand hold the issue of the month, and you are dying to read, but cant buy it because yours will (hopefully) arrive by the middle of the month? Weird. Oh well!

Im a print subscriber in the US and since this app title says North America I expected to get a digital version of the print magazine I already have. The problem is that in this app they are selling/distributing the UK version, which for the geography novices is NOT in North America! The US version has Miley Cyrus on the cover for September, the one in the app features Rachel Weisz. Either change the name of the app or get the issues right!
