MacDesktop,
A huge disappointment.

I bought this because of the statement “We are constantly adding new lessons, songs and other features”, and yet nothing. Where is this new content? It seems pretty non-existent at this point. A promise to lure a hefty price tag out of you for 5-minutes of basic instruction and a bunch of classical midi files you can play along with—ironically nothing even suited for a beginner. And at this point, paying to “Unlock features” gets you exactly the same as paying for “grade 1”, except with a doubling of cost for your convenience. The use of the word “constantly” might invoke ideas of bi-weekly delivery of new lessons, but in the four months I’ve had this, there’s been nothing. Not a drop of new content and the app hasn’t been updated in almost a year. It’s sad because my daughter really loves it, but even as a 3-year old she’s bored with the minuscule amount of lesson work that there actually is.

Piano Teacher

I’m a part time piano teacher in on the side, and I am really impressed with all the things this app can do, especially because I downloaded it on a whim. I recommend it to my students young and old. Will take a look at the full version.

Sooo cool!

I know that piano teachers are always looking at innovative ways to try and help kids learn where the piano keys are because then you can move onto more advanced and fun things. I’m sure this app will help children learn a lot quicker than just looking at a book and I’d love to see this on the iPad... just what the iPad is missing and could work for children much better.

Perfect

When I first tried this app I was amazed at how many features are included! Seems you get a massive choice of things to do with loads and loads of choices for songs to look at. With the notes flowing across the keyboard its great to learn how to play them. Theres a wide range from Chopin to Beethoven so I dont think Ill ever run out of songs… its like the only app I need. The app works great as it is with all the features needed, perfect for beginners, but with the upgrade it just goes into something really powerful that anybody can use.

Wow

Everything in this app that I need… so fun to play and use… keep the updates coming and adding new stuff.

Hard

Dis ap iz hard!!!! Man, playing piano is tuff!

Nice App. An update with improvements would make this so much better.

I bought this to improve my dexterity on piano (Im primarily a drummer). Ive looked at other apps and this one seemed best for me, being that I already have a little skill on piano. But am in no means an expert. It has a lot of classical pieces to choose from. Great guide options to help you see where the notes will hit before they play. The falling notes are cool, but do take a little bit of time to get used to. Something I would like to see in this is to have the ability to subdivide the bpm. Also, it would be near perfect if there was the ability to see the music in score form. This would help with my reading, which Id like to improve on as well.
