Explore the weather! Investigate interesting facts about meteorology – in a playful way! There are many topics to discover and this app helps children to understand their local weather but also global weather phenomena! This app relies on the the initial STEM foundation and provides standards-based structured inquiry-based and real world problem-based learning, connecting parts from all four of the STEM subjects. There is also an emphasis placed on bridging in-school and out-of-school STEM learning opportunities. The question “what should I wear?” prompts children to dress their individually chosen figure in clothes suitable for the current weather conditions. The children can create their own weather and find out how thunder storms occur. What causes rainbows? Why are hailstones so hard? Children have many questions about the weather. This app answers those questions in a child-friendly way! "This is my Weather – Meteorology for Kids" is also ideal for use in kindergartens and schools. The app encourages children to make connections and to acquire knowledge independently. Developed by a team of weather experts, parents and children – for curious boys and girls! Content: The current weather What should I wear? What causes rainbows? Why does thunder and lightning happen? What is rain? Wind circulation The water cycle The different cloud types How heavy are clouds? Why isn’t weather the same everywhere? Heute schneit es und die Kinder haben sich ausführlich darüber unterhalten, dass das Wetter so anders war als sonst... Wir haben dann eine App gesucht u diese schöne gefunden! Es macht viel Spaß und die Bilder sind wie bei Astrid Lindgren Büchern...

Sehr ansprechend und sehr anschaulich und informativ gemacht! Habe damit gleich mit meinem Sohn für seinen Nawi- Test geübt! Die Themen, wie beispielsweise die Entstehung der Jahreszeiten, Tag und Nacht oder eines Regenbogens, werden sehr gut verständlich dargestellt und sind äußerst liebevoll gestaltet.
