Prós: - Multiplataforma, os arquivos podem ser utilizados tanto no Windows quanto no OS X; - Bem mais barato que a concorrência (ERWin, ER-Studio…); - Compra-se somente o necessário (In-App Purchase); Contras: - Não reconheceu o identity do SQL-Server; - Não permite a criação de UDT; - Não manipula outros objetos além de tabelas; Conclusão: - Um dos mais simples e melhores softwares de modelagem de dados que utilizei; - Ideal para modelagens rápidas e de baixa-complexidade; - Ótimo custo-benefício;

… das war es dann auch schon mit den Vorteilen. Diese App leistet nicht viel mehr als jedes Grafikprogramm. Ja, man kann Tabellen anlegen und verknüpfen. Es fehlen in dieser Version aber jegliche Möglichkeiten, bestehende Daten zu visualisieren oder die erstellten Modelle zu exportieren. Eine Farce für jeden, der schonmal mit anderen Tools (z.B. der Open Source Lösung MySQL Workbench) gearbeitet hat.

1. das Programm ist sehr langsam; auf einem aktuellen Macbook Pro; bei 2 Tabellen 2. es werden nicht alle postgresql Typen “unterstützt”; sehr blöd 3. man kann zwar “schema” angeben, aber visuell darstellen kann man das nicht; wieso nicht? Nun frage ich mich wieso ich tatsaechlich die 179 eur fuer alle Features bezahlen soll, wenn die Darstellung schon bei 2 Tabellen grotten lahm ist und postgresql gar nicht unterstützt wird. Da kann ich auch gleich mit inkscape oder dia meine Modelle erstellen. Ich habe auch pgmodeler schon getestet, aber das stuerzt mir zu oft ab. Alles schrott somit :).

This app has most of the modelling features needed. The interface is not very friendly. You continually have to click the + button to add anything. The table columns are on a seperate screen than the map. I was hoping to interactively do database design work, however with the constant switching between columns and maps it was much easier on paper. There are many other interface issues, handlebars that block text making it impossible to see, small fonts, too much wasted space around text and column definitions, etc. To it’s credit there are a lot of DB modeling features, just needs a more interactive interface. If you ar looking to document your data model this app might work. If you are willing to spend some time working around the interface I am sure it will have the features you need for modeling. For design work it is just too cumbersome.

Potrzebujecie aplikację do modelowania tabel baz danych? To narzędzie jest znakomite. Możliwości jest sporo jak na darmową wersję - w dodatku obsługuje notacje UML! Ale... są 2 poważne minusy: (1) brak możliwości eksportu diagramów do plików PNG lub JPG (2) brak możliwości wydruku, nawet do PDFa. W takich sytuacjach pozostaje tylko zrobić screenshot.

Totalmente inutile. Una volta creato il modello lo si può solo stampare. Non è possibile creare un db partendo dal modello, come non è possibile neanche generare uno script SQL. Mi aspetterei di poter usare il file di modello in Navicat Premium per generare il db, ma niente. Non è possibile, pertanto resta una app fine a se stessa.
