Description
Use this app to get hourly ocean and lake surface weather observations from hundreds of ships participating in the Voluntary Observing Ship (VOS) Program worldwide.
Each ship measures wave height (in feet), wind speed + direction (in mph), air + water temperature (in °F), and pressure with pressure change (in mb).
A ship may have temperature data, but not wave data. Many ships report all four weather characteristics.
Ships are not identified for security reasons.
There is a fixed banner ad from Google on the bottom of the map. Your location is never shared with Google.
