A pluviometer (also known as a rain gauge ) is a type of instrument used by meteorologists and hydrologists to gather and measure the amount of liquid precipitation over a set period of time.
Your GPS location is used to display the current amount of precipitation.
The amount of rain precipitation is displayed in mm and inches.
