The bad frame rate pretty much kills the mood. On a 13" macbook pro retina mid-2014. The app CPU is at 10% in activity monitor.

Relaxing!
I’m an island, west coast beach lover stuck on the east coast with no beach. I was looking for something to help me relax while I work from home surrounded by no beach. This app is perfect. The sound of the waves and the simple look of the water is just enough. I was nervous it might be too complicated with fish or whales and a whole lot of action. But it was just right. the look of the app is Simple but refreshing. it plays even when i have other applications up and I love that too! I turned the automatic island music off though. The sound of the beach was what I wanted so I’m glad there’s a feature to turn off just the music both on desktop and screensaver. Oh one more thing, though I love the cloudy storm look it would be nice to have a nice sun feature, sunset or sunrise would be great!
HD graphics & HD sound - A wonderful way to fall & stay asleep
This company only publishes really great apps. I was hooked early and soon bought them all. Im hoping Sandy Beach will eventually cause beach dreams as easily as it now puts me to sleep. I also love having the sound running in the background while I work AND the ultra wide dual monitor option across my 27” iMac and ajoining 46” Samsung TV in my bedroom. This is truly a class act!
Attention rame dangeureusement
Très beau décor animé, vraiment joli. Mais alors il ne faut faire que çà, car tout est ralenti, On essaie de passer dune app à lautre en full screen et là çà rame !!! Dommage, lidée était bonne, je préfèrai une app beaucoup plus light pour un wallpaper...
Superbe Wallpaper, mais pas un vrai ScreenSaver
La scène dans son ensemble est très bien faite et les bruitages (à la demande) viennent agrémenter le tout pour encore plus de réalisme. Donc, en Wallpaper animé, cest parfait, bien que non innocent en terme de ressources utilisées. Sur ur un MacBook Pro 2011, ça reste minime (1 à 2%). Cest plus conséquent sur un Mac Mini 2009 (de lordre de 7 à 9%). Ce que je regrette en revanche, cest le mode Screen Saver qui nen est pas un. De ce fait, on perd certaines fonctionnalités très utiles comme : - Le verrouillage de lordinateur lorsquil passe en "économiseur" décran, - La désactivation de celui-ci par voie logicielle (par exemple par VLC) lorsquon lit des vidéos. Pour moi, donc, ça restera un fond décran sur mes sessions les moins gourmandes !

Que dire si ce nest que jadore littéralement ce logiciel !!! jai acheté Sandy Beach ainsi que Dolphins 3D du même développeur et je suis conquis !
