Scanner Remote is a remote control application for Uniden BearCat scanners. Just connect your Uniden BearCat scanner via a USB cable and allow your Mac to control your radio. Scanner Remote makes it easy to control volume, squelch, temporary avoid, mute, and hold channel functions directly from your Mac. The application serves as a remote head and displays the current scanner Frequency/TGID, System, Department, Channel, and Current Time. Scanner Remote captures scanner hits and displays a table of Frequency/TGID, System, Department, Channel, and number of times that a Channel is Hit. This is a free app that has been tested to work with Uniden BCD536HP, BCD436HP, and SDS100 model scanners. It may also work with Uniden Home Patrol scanners that have USB connections but it has not been tested.
