Good content. No bugs so far.
Nice
So far so good! Excellent stories. Incredibly fluid on my IPhone 6S, keep up the good work, becoming one of my favourite news apps,
Couldnt be Better!
Its a great app and worth downloading!
Not very useful
Too slow, no text only summery page, have to open everything in a browser. It almost forces you to allow notifications, something I can no longer permit. If you allow everything that wants to to send notifications the barrage becomes overwhelming, ditto for emails. I used to allow these but found myself just ticking "Select All" then "Trash", never reading anything and missing important mail. I sympathize with the need for exposure, the bills have to be paid, but my time is limited too so eventually I deleted my email account and created a new one that I never expose. Ditto with notifications, dont allow them anymore, just too much junk. For what its worth, heres what Id like to see in this app; what would make it useful. This is only my take. 1. Fast search with date range option. 2. Text only summary, continuous scrolling - no "Next Page" time wasters. 3. Deep dive the science and downplay the populist items, 95% of what I see here is no more than "News at 7:00" stuff, just a skimming and equally incomplete. 4. Include Citations please!, without Cites its almost impossible to back trail the info and sources in a reasonable amount of time. 5. Add the ability to build a Cite list for later follow up and research. I could add lots more on the wish list but hopefully you get the idea, make the app a useful reference tool, drop the junk, get rid of the "Open in browser" and just pass the call to Safari with a proper cleanup & return. I subscribe to several university newsletters and blogs where the convention is similar, a text only, summery page where important items are flagged, the flagged items are reviewed and have more extensive follow up, and truly important items are referenced to single articles. Finally, there are double flagged items indicating these have potential break-through impact and receive additional review and audit. No app is going to be able to do all things to everything but perhaps a middle ground could be found at a reasonable price.
Very Good App
A+
New look
Im all for a new look but it just makes the whole app less convenient. It feels like apps only go for form over function these days. There are just better options, go try those first.
Nice job
