Great idea but very cumbersome
The transitions are good ideas and the sun menu idea is kinda neat but they are very slow. It is too sluggish and buggy to be a good reference app. I hope it is updated to speed things up and make it more clean and quick.
Tried it, and then deleted it immediately
Im not sure the developers motivation in creating a clunky, new interface for reading on the iPhone, but this is simultaneously slow, distracting, and difficult to use. After a few minutes of trying to navigate to a particular scripture -- and being unable to do so -- I gave up. The problem is the "page turning" metaphor rather than the "long scroll" as is used by every other version of the scriptures Ive seen. With this app, itll take significantly longer to get to a particular verse if, for instance, you wanted to find the scripture mentioned by your Gospel Doctrine teacher. That is, if you can get the interface to let you get there at all. Kudos for the developer trying something new, but, alas, it doesnt work.
Cluncky, slow, incomplete
I downloaded this because it was free (at the time) and to see how it compared to other interfaces of the scriptures. Frankly, it was slow and very cluncky feeling. Slow to load, slow to navigate, and a UI that just didnt work for me. The scriptural text is there, yes, BUT there are no chapter headings or section headings. There are no foot notes or any of the reference sections. I deleted this one after about 5 minutes of use simply because there are much better free options out there.

I guess it was ok. It was pretty glitchy and it took a while to learn how to use and even then it definatly was not worth money. Dont buy this!!!!!!!
pretty good
once i got used to the page turning feature, i liked it. it is true that you can find scriptures faster with a scroller than a page turner, but it is a better way to read long passages at once (ie for personal scripture study.) i am deffinately using another app for institute, etc, but im keeping this for personal study.
