Good Game … Not So Good Emulator

BlueStrings · 10 years ago

I own the original version of this game and have spent many hours enjoying it on my G4 Mac. When I saw that it was available through the App store for my current Mac, I jumped at the chance to buy it. At $5.99 it was a no brainer. The game itself doesn’t come close to the expectations of todays first person shooters, it lacks the detail and customizability of a modern game. Even so, it still offers the puzzles and shooting action that makes a game worth playing. I rate the game as a solid 3+ … The problem is the emulator the game runs on. I have experienced application crashes and freezes every few minutes while playing. The emulator is simply not ready for commercial sale and needs fully tested then debugged. Until a bug fix is released to fix the stability issues, I would stay away from this game.
