Ships Magazine contains the history of Military and Civilian Ships and Images and stories of their uses throughout history. Ships Magazine will cover ships from around the world. Back issues and future issues are available for purchase within the App. Future issues are also available through the following auto-renewing subscription: -12 Issues + Past Issues (1 Year) at $23.99 -6 Issues + Past Issues (6 Month) at $11.99 The subscription will include the current issue if you do not already own it and subsequently published future issues. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. This subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period, your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal will match the initial subscription price. You may turn off auto-renewing subscriptions by going to your user’s Account Settings after purchase. This app does not work. I have sent numerous Emails to the support site, and have received no response. do not use this site.

Keeps crashing!

I bought the January, 2012 issue and "every time" I try to open it the app crashes on my iPad 1. I tried resetting my device and then deleted and re-installed it. No change. If you have an iPad 1 I wouldnt recommend getting any of this developers magazine apps until they fix their instability. I bought the Dinosaur Magazine, the Ships Magazine and lastly the Shark Magazine. Ok, call me dense. I subscribed for a year to the Dinosaur Magazine, which includes back issues, and everything still shows as "Buy Issue" but at least its fairly stable. The Sharks and the Ships magazines I cannot read anything as they "constantly" crash after a few finger touches. I reset my iPad...no change. I deleted the apps and re-installed them. No change. Constantly crashes still. I think the customers are the Alpha Testers. Beware! The Dinosaur Magazine issue on T. Rex is the exact Wikipedia article! Their ships and sharks magazine crashes so I cannot tell if they have plagiarized their information from Wikipedia there too. Wikipedia forbids using their articles without proper credit and they cannot sell it regardless!

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

If you purchase a year subscription, you cannot download issues. I have contacted the developer several times to seek resolution, but have not heard a peep. I liked the one issue I purchased previously for my iPad 2, but $24 for a years subscription I cant access is ridiculous.

I like many others have paid for a subscription and have not been able to view any issues without paying for them individually. Updates and new issues are never on time, sometimes months late. Their support is worthless, dont waste your money.
