Description

Sky Above is a star gazing app that allows you to view where in the sky stars, constellations, planets and satellites are above you in the sky. Now updated for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, also with tracking for the Hubble Space Telescope! Best of all, you can see the real sky in the app too using your devices camera! Just hold your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch up to the sky and all will be revealed to you. Sky Above uses your location provided by GPS and compass built into your device to work out where you are and what to show you. I had been looking for an app like this for some time. Even I got the hang if it, so its pretty user-friendly! Cant quite get the night sky as seen thru the phone cam to coincide with the display (scale problem?), but Jupiter was still clearly identifiable, to the left of the Moon - and thats the kind of thing I wanted to know. Im sure Ill use it on many clear nights.

Extremely difficult to use! Cannot be viewed in LANDSCAPE mode/ pop-ups hide in a corner without it being fully seen. Waste of money. I shouldnt have bought it. Awful shame!
