The story of the goose that laid the golden egg had an awful, very disturbing illustration of blood & a knife that traumatized my grandson! I would not recommend this story to 5 yr olds. The other stories are ok, the morals are clear may require more elaboration. The interactive feature is lacking.
Great app for reading!!!
PRO: Gives universal lessons & moral truths without the religious dogma. Great way to encourage reading for beginners (preK-2nd-ish). Nominal cost to add more stories. CON: Font may be small for some. The "read to me" voice has a laugh that sounds like H. Clinton. Hope app inventors add more stories & get positive reviews!
Not for new readers
The words in the story are difficult for new readers trying to read on their own. For example "challenged", "point", "immediately", "decided", and "followed". This is not a book for beginner readers to read on their own. I would be happy with these vocabulary choices if I wanted my child to listen to the book. The animation was cute.

Should gave kept the morals and the stories like the original not "where theres a will theres a way" as the moral. The real one is " necessity is the mother of invention"
Terrible app
Stories are too short. Paid money for 5 or 6 stories that occupied my daughter for a total of five minutes! do not buy!
