Sunset Hills Golf Course is a locally owned course located in the center of the Sunset Hills neighborhood in Pekin, Illinois. Open to the public, this course offers many reasonable membership options, including varying discounts. This fantastic Pekin golf facility features a driving range to warm up with, and an experience rich with rolling hills and challenging flats. Sunset Hills, formerly a country club, features an 18-hole, par 71 layout. Each hole offers four sets of tees - Championship, Men’s, Senior, & Ladies. Over 400 trees have been removed or trimmed in the last two years, which makes the course much more playable. Weve also recently renovated sand traps, and put in several new tees. We now even feature an 18-Hole Disc Golf Course! Sunset Hills is the home of the Robert B. Monge Mens Best Ball Tournament and the Sunset Ladies Best Ball Tournament, which are both beloved community traditions. We offer our “Junior Golf Academy,” taught by local High School coaches; "Nine & Wine", a lesson for ladies to enjoy with a glass of wine on Thursdays; "Jack & Jill," couples golf on Fridays, and are open to outings of any size. In our Pro Shop you will find a great variety of items, including many from our partner, Illini Golf of Peoria. And you cant beat our Monday Golf Special - $32 for 18 holes of golf with cart, then a pint of beer and a 1/2 lb. of wings. Mashies Pub & Eatery, located inside the clubhouse at Sunset Hills Golf Course, is a full service restaurant and banquet facility. We invite you to enjoy our great burgers and rotating beer selection, as well as our wide assortment of liquors. In the spring and summer months, Mashies veranda is open for dining, where you can view the beautiful sunsets in the evening.
