This is the perfect tool to integrate Google Photos into a workflow on MacOS. It functions so well it seems like a native Google app. This is what I have been looking for.

just awesome
if you use google photos, this is definitely worth getting
Love This App
I love this app, it’s just like loading google photos in your browser but in an app in my dock. I use it for all of my google services as well, because you can navigate to all of the google services from this app. I love that. The only thing I wish it had was offline support, but this still earns 4 stars. Highly recommend if you want an app for any google service.
I was nervous, but not anymore!
I have loved the mobile app used by my iPhone and iPad, but I got nervous last week when I could not find a way to save a picture off of Google Photos and put back on my device. My fear is relieved. Great app!
it does not work! a waste of $3
I downloaded it thinking than it would give me access to my google photos and what showed up was a tiny screen that qit taking me anywhere after the first time. It doesnt even open
Wow….
When I reviewed it a few days ago and said I’m not sure what could be improved but look forward to any updates I had no idea the update would come that quickly! Really nice update to make it a standalone app as well as sitting up in the menu bar…choices are appreciated. It opens lightning quick as an app and feels like the native app that Google should have made for their excellent photo service. This may not be possible but is there any way to access Google Photos api that would allow this app to auto download creations from your google photos account..ie Albums, Movies, Animations etc and store on your computer as an option? This I believe is the only real missing link in Googles Photos that would allow you to have a native app experience and bring it all home. Their Google Drive app downloads all the photos from your Google Photos account for archiving but misses the mark on the creations that are great. Just a suggestion if at all possible. Keep up the great work!
